Privacy and Cookie Policy

This policy explains which personal data TREAL processes on this website, why, on what legal basis, and how you can exercise your rights under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).

What data we process and why

• Business inquiries (chat, WhatsApp, email): name, company, city/state, phone, email and details of your industrial process. Used to reply and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: pre-contractual procedures and legitimate interest (art. 7, V and IX).
• Content subscription: email. Used to send our technical content. Legal basis: consent (art. 7, I).
• Careers (Google form): data and résumé you submit. Used for recruitment. Legal basis: pre-contractual procedures and consent.
• Content search: terms searched on the blog, recorded anonymously (no IP, no identification) so we understand what the public looks for and improve our content. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
• Browsing: pages visited, device, browser and traffic source, collected by cookies only if you allow it. Legal basis: consent.
• Cookie choice record: date, time, language, page and categories accepted or declined. We do not store your IP address in this record. Legal basis: legal obligation and regular exercise of rights (art. 7, II and VI).

In the chat, share only what you wish. All personal fields are optional.

Cookies

• Necessary: store your cookie choice (treal_consent, up to 6 months). Always on.
• Statistics: Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager. Enabled only if you accept.
• Marketing: Google Ads (conversion measurement and remarketing). Enabled only if you accept.

Statistics and marketing cookie lifetimes are set by Google. You can change your choice at any time under Cookies in the footer, or delete cookies in your browser.

Sharing and international transfers

We share data only with service providers: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Forms), WhatsApp (Meta) and website hosting and storage providers. Some are outside Brazil, such as in the United States, and transfers rely on the safeguards in art. 33 of the LGPD. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Business inquiries: up to 5 years after the last contact, or as required by law.
• Content subscription: until you unsubscribe.
• Résumés: up to 12 months.
• Cookie choice record: up to 5 years.

Your rights

Under art. 18 of the LGPD you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information on sharing, and withdrawal of consent. Write to paulo@treal.com.br. We reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD). To stop receiving content by email, just ask at the same address.

Security

We use secure connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data and providers with recognized security measures. No system is fully immune; in case of a relevant incident we will notify you and the ANPD as the law requires.

Minors and external links

The site is aimed at businesses and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Links to third-party sites follow each site's own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest version is at the top of the page.
